1. What is collected here

Nothing. There is no contact form, no newsletter, no comments, no account and no tracking script. No cookie is written by these pages, and no file is fetched from a third party while you read, which includes typefaces, tag managers and social buttons. The fonts are served from this domain for exactly that reason.

A privacy policy that describes processing which does not happen is as misleading as one that hides processing which does, so this page describes only what exists.

2. Hosting logs

The pages are delivered by a hosting provider, which keeps technical logs in the ordinary way: the IP address that requested a page, the address requested, the time and the response code. Those records exist to serve and protect the site, belong to the hosting provider, and are not enriched or used here to build a profile of a reader. Where that counts as personal data, the lawful basis is the legitimate interest in operating and securing the site, and retention follows the provider’s own schedule.

3. Paid links

Following a paid link takes you to gohighlevel.com. From that click you are on that supplier’s website, under its privacy policy, and its partner programme records that the visit came from here so that a commission can be attributed if you subscribe. What that mechanism stores, for how long and in which country is described by the supplier, and it is worth reading before signing up rather than after. This site receives no personal data in return: what reaches its operator is an aggregate count of referrals.

4. Your rights under UK law

Under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 you have the right to access your personal data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, to receive it in a portable form, and to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. Because this site collects nothing, there is in practice nothing here on which to exercise those rights. A request about the hosting logs is passed to the provider that holds them, and it will be answered even when the answer is that no data exists.

5. Children and security

This is a guide about business software, written for people who run a business. It is not aimed at children and collects nothing from anyone, including them. The pages are static and carry no script of their own, which removes the most common route by which a website leaks information about its readers, and they are served over an encrypted connection. No transmission over the internet can be guaranteed absolutely, and nobody honest claims otherwise.

6. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the change is published on this page. If a future version of the site begins collecting something, that will be stated here before it starts, not discovered afterwards.
